Boatsman’s.com Return & Refund Policy

At Boatsman’s.com, we stand behind the quality of every product we sell. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’ll do everything we can to make it right. Our goal is to provide Florida boaters, anglers, and ocean lovers with dependable marine supplies and a stress-free shopping experience.
1. Return Eligibility & Time Frame
- You may return new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange.
- Items must be unused, in original packaging, and include all manuals, parts, and accessories.
- Some items (e.g., oversized products, custom orders, or drop-shipped parts) may have a 15-day return window — clearly marked on their product page.
2. Non-Returnable or Limited-Return Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Custom-made or special-order items
- Installed or used parts and electrical components
- Clearance or “Final Sale” items
- Items damaged through improper use or installation
- Gift cards or downloadable products
If a product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can arrange a replacement or refund.
3. Return Process

- Provide your order number, item(s) you wish to return, and reason for the return.
- We’ll issue a Return Authorization (RA) and instructions for shipping your product back.
- Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll issue your refund or exchange within 7 business days.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method unless otherwise requested.
4. Return Shipping
- If we make an error (wrong item, damaged, defective), we’ll cover all shipping costs.
- For standard returns, customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item qualifies for a free return promotion.
- Oversized or freight items may require a return freight quote before shipping.
- We recommend using trackable shipping; Boatsman’s is not responsible for lost packages.
5. Restocking Fees
To help control costs on large or custom marine parts, a 10–15% restocking fee may apply to non-defective returns of certain bulky items. We’ll always disclose this before approving the return.
6. Exchanges
If you’d like to exchange an item, we’ll ship your replacement as soon as the returned product is received and approved. Exchanges are typically processed within 5–7 business days.
7. Refunds
Approved refunds will appear on your original payment method within 7–10 business days. If your refund hasn’t appeared after that time, please contact your bank or credit card provider — processing times can vary.
8. Warranty Claims
Some products may be covered under manufacturer warranties. In these cases, we’ll help you contact the manufacturer directly or facilitate a claim on your behalf. Please retain your receipt and packaging.
